The word of the day is: MERAVIGLIA
Meraviglia means "wonder" or "amazement".
But it is more than that. It is the feeling you have when you see something so beautiful that you have to stop. It is the feeling of a child seeing the sea for the first time, or the feeling of looking at a starry sky on a clear night.
It is the gentle surprise of a small flower growing in the city. It is a quiet moment of magic in your everyday life.
A little Italian for you:
In Italy, we use this word all the time.
When you see a beautiful sunset, you can say: "Che meraviglia!" (How wonderful!).
When you taste a perfect cappuccino, you can say: "Che meraviglia!"
When you hear a song that touches your heart, you can say: "Che meraviglia!"
