Animal Shelter Walks

Steve D.

Every week I like to visit my local animal shelter and take some abandoned dogs for a walk in the woods.

It's good for the animals to get outside of the animal shelter cages, plus I get some great exercise by walking them! It's a win-win situation :)

I love animals and especially dogs (man's best friend right?) but it's sad to see dogs that are abondoned at animal shelters...

So, I'm very thankful for the people who work there for taking care of the animals that have been sent there, and I encourage other people to volunteer and help out with dog walks, or helping clean the cages.

Why don't you visit your local animal shelter and take them for a walk once in a while? I'm sure you will have a great time together!
