Affect or Effect??

AFFECT is a verb meaning make a difference to or have an effect on. 

Some synonyms of AFFECT are: influence, determine, decide, guide, change, transform, shape, etc.

1. Cold weather almost always AFFECTS my health.

2. Your bad reviews will AFFECT your credibility.

3. Drugs have negative AFFECTS on the brain

EFFECT is (usually) a noun meaning a change which is a result of consequence of an action or other cause.

Some synonyms of EFFECT are: result, consequence, outcome, reaction, termination, product, etc. 

1. The test had a big EFFECT on my grade.

2. I hope this song has a positive EFFECT on your mood.

3. The EFFECT for stealing is jail.
