Where Did English Come From?

Brian R.

Hey everybody! How was your weekend? Mine was busy to say the least.

I found this video and posted it to my CafeTalk Facebook page, which I encourage everyone to check out if you have Facebook!

The origins of where languages come from is so interesting to me. I love history and language, so this is a real treat.

Check this awesome video by TedEd out! It is about the origins (where something comes from) of English. It will explain where English came from, how it has changed over time and how it contiues to evolve.

Thank you TedEd for a great video!

I hope you enjoy the video and the rest of your Sunday!

Happy learning,

Brian R.

Vocab and Phrases:

"to say the least": Phrase that means that what I said beofre the phrase is an under-statement or not all that I could say. It means I could say more if I wanted to.
