こんにちは、Keikoです！しばらく日本に帰っていたりしてたので、我が家の食卓レポートをしばらくお休みしてました。
Hello there, it's Keiko! I was back in Japan so I haven't posted anythingon on our dinner here for a while.
基本的に私が食べたい物をいつも作るんですが（笑）、イギリス人の主人は主人でやはり食べたい物というのがあるらしく、こういう物を作って～！というリクエストを受けます。今回はそんな願いを叶えてあげた週となりました。
I basically cook what I want to eat, but my British husband has his own cravings and I was sometimes asked to make something for him. This was one of these weeks when his wishes came true lol!
*Craving = an intense desire for some particular thing ある特別な物への欲求という意味で、中毒＝addiction とまではいかなくとも、ここでは食べたくて仕方がなくなるというような意味で使っています。
まずはじめに、チキンパルミジャーナ。イタリアの本物のパルミジャーナは普通、ナスで作りますが、オーストラリア人はよくチキンで作ります。チキンカツにナポリソース、チーズをさらにのせて焼いて食べます。美味しんですよ、これが！
First of all, it was chicken parmigiana. The typical Italian parmigiana is usually made with eggplant but Australians often do it with chicken. Deep fried breaded chicken is dressed with napoli sauce, then baked with cheese. Yum!
今週は2回パンを焼きました。ハンバーガー用のパンとバターロール。バターロールの作り方を教えてあげた外国人の方はみなそろっておいしいーと言います。
I baked twice this week. I made the burger buns first, then the butter rolls! Any foreigners I taught how to make butter rolls are so impressed!
主人によると、ハンバーガーはやっぱり食べたくなるんですって。私はやっぱ日本人なのかなー、ハンバーガーを食べたくて仕方ないなんて思ったことがないですー。私としては、ハンバーガーよりもハンバーグだけでデミグラスソースや和風ソースとかでご飯と食べたいんですけれどね。
Hamburgers are something my husband often craves apparently. I never do lol and I must be so Japanese.... I much rather eat hamburger steaks with demi-glace sauce or Japanese style sauce with rice...
