Happy New Year to everyone on Cafetalk! I wish you all the best of health!
Christmas and New Year holidays are a merry and joyous time that we spend with our family and loved ones. Everyone is just filled with happiness. We enjoy those bonding moments, eat good food and receive presents, of course!
However, this lovely time of year filled with beautiful memorable moments can be dangerous for our health.
Why you ask?
The answer is simple: We tend to stop exercising and taking care of our health together with eating a lot of greasy and unhealhty food. In other words, we become lazy! Everyone usually gains weight during this season and that is OK, we can get that weight off easily, but since most people stop caring about their health, it is also easy for them to catch a cold or come down with flew.
It's not all bad to treat ourselves every once in a while with delicous food in big amounts and pig out, but we mustn't forget to include vitamins and minerals in our diet, as well as stay physically active.
OK, you had a lot of food today! Maybe I did too. What can we do about it? We can grab a green apple or eat an orange to treat ourselves with some vitamins and then work out! That's right. No matter what you ate today, you should now have something healthy too and stay phisically active.
What's your New Year's resolution for 2018? Mine, among other things, is to stay active and healthy!
