Scientific Health benefits of Tai Chi + Discounted Lessons!

Some of you may be aware of the ancient practice of 'Tai Chi' but do not exactly know what it is.

So for those of you who have maybe seen elderly people in the parks practing some 'super slow' movements in the early morning, but never really understood what or why they were doing them, I am here to explain!

Tai Chi was originally created as a COMPLETE system of health and would enable one to not only fight, but to also have a healthy and balanced body and mind. It's origins are the subject of much debate, but what is known is that there appears to be evidence of it being practiced as long as 1500 years ago!!!!

I like to describe Tai Chi as a 'Moving Meditation' as it aims to balance the mind and body whilst strengthening, stretching and mobilising physically whilst increasing focus and awareness mentally.

The scientific benefits of practicing Tai Chi are incredible and further research is still being conducted today.

Harvard University have been behind many of these studies and have shown proven benefits to include :

- Heart health benefits

- Strengthening of the limbs

- Increasing bone density

- Improving cardiovascular health

- Reducing blood pressure

- Improving mood and reducing symptoms of depression

- Reduced risk of falling and improved balance

and many more!

This is an incredible system which despite all of it's history and science still remains largely unknown to many people. Perhaps there is a bit too much 'woo woo' (non scientific thought) associated with the way many people teach, or perhaps many think of it as outdated, but the science shows otherwise and I am aiming to promote and spread this wonderful health giving art!

I am currently teaching Tai Chi at the reduced price of only 1500 points!
