As some of you know, I returned to the UK recently. It's good to finally be home to stay.
What have I been doing since I’ve been back? I'll catch you up!
A couple of weeks ago, Liverpool celebrated Chinese New Year. I enjoyed seeing red lanterns along the city streets, hearing traditional music and watching a colourful Lumiere display on the city’s Chinese Arch.
After that, I went to a pub and drank Japanese beer. It was so good! Do you know this beer?
I celebrated my birthday on 26th February. My brother gave me a card that said, "You're as mad as a box of frogs." That's an idiom. It means I am crazy. It's supposed to be a joke. It's a very funny card. (Please look up the definition of sarcasm.)
On another note, just before my birthday, I decided to stop accepting new students. I truly love meeting new students, but right now I have a lot of regular, loyal students. I am very lucky because they’re all great, fascinating people.
If you are hoping to take a lesson with me for the first time, I hope that one day we can meet but, for now, I’m so sorry we can’t.
I hope everybody had a great February. Let’s look forward to spring!
