About Homestay!

Students are welcome to join us on the farm for a relaxing vacation. There are no other homes in sight, and there are lots of beautiful views from the property. You are welcome to help with chores or play with animals, but there will be no guided activities for the homestay program. Homestay has to be booked at least a month in advance. The only dates that are not available are during the Adventure Camp (you may book a spot in the Adventure Camp if you want though!) Homestay is open from April 1st, 2019 (excluding April 25th - May 6th and August 6th - 16th) until November 1st 2019. The minimum stay length is 3 days, and the maximum stay length is 14 days.

About the Camp!

The camp will be a bit different from homestay, and that’s why it’s called "Camp"! Our Adventure Camp is for anyone who would like to enjoy guided activities together with their families, friends, or friends they haven't met yet in a fun and educational as well as incredibly beautiful and relaxing environment.

You will live out in the country with us, with no other home in sight other than the houses on our farm. However I or my mother are happy to drive you to other destinations near the farm as well, if the trips are planned beforehand.

Guests will be allowed (encouraged even!) to participate in the daily running of the farm which can include feeding all the animals, milking the goats, tending the garden, and caring for newborn baby animals (baby goats (called kids), chicks, turkeys(poults), ducks(ducklings), baby rabbits, kittens, or puppies are all possible!)

2019 Camp Dates:
・April 28th - May 3rd (Golden Week)
・August 9th - 13th

(Are there other dates that you and your family would rather come to the Adventure Camp? We're taking requests until May and if you and enough other people want different dates, we'll make an Adventure Camp for it!)

Our property / Your stay

There are 3 houses on our 50 acre property. Depending on the number of guests at the camp, we will all be staying in the red lodge together, or I (Tracy) will be staying in the brown lodge.

We have two houses available and all guests will be provided with a private bedroom, or a private bedroom for groups/families traveling together.

Included in your stay

★Homestay

  • Lodging (including basic amenities)
  • 3 meals daily (Full breakfast provided. Depending on how busy the hosts are, lunch will have to be prepared by the student and dinner may also sometimes have to be prepared by the student. The kitchen will be open to students as well as all of the food in it for them to cook with.)
  • Transportation from Medford airport to the farm and from the farm to Medford airport on set dates
  • English conversation with native speakers all day, every day! (This will be total immersion, so students will learn very quickly. Hosts will be very patient with guests who are not proficient with English so students can feel comfortable while learning English.)

All of the above for Homestay and Optional Guided Activities can include:

  • Horse related activities (Including: learning about our horses - Wild Mustangs, caring for horses, understanding horse behavior, riding lessons, cart rides.)
