Draw Manga Faces & Learn English: Manga Faces & Facial Features – Learn to Draw Your Own Characters

In this live, hands-on lesson, you will learn the basic foundations for drawing manga faces and facial features.
We will start from the basics and work step by step. I will demonstrate the techniques live while you draw along with me, so you can practice each concept during the lesson.
We will explore simple methods for constructing manga faces and learn different ways to draw important facial features, including noses and mouths.
You will also learn how small changes in facial features can help you create different types of manga characters and expressions.
The goal is not simply to copy a face. I want you to understand the basic construction so that you can use these ideas to create your own manga faces and characters.

This lesson is ideal for beginners who have always wanted to learn manga drawing but have never taken an art class before.
You don't need previous manga drawing experience. We will start with the fundamentals and build your skills step by step.
It can also be useful for students who already have some drawing experience and want to improve their manga faces, facial features, and drawing technique.
Learn English while you draw!
During the lesson, we will also practice useful English vocabulary related to manga faces and facial features.
For example, you will learn and practice words related to the eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, cheeks, chin, face shape, proportions, guidelines, and expressions while we draw together.
This gives you the opportunity to practice basic English naturally while learning how to draw manga.
Materials & Requirements
Please have the following materials ready:
- A sketchbook or drawing pad.
- Drawing pencils such as 2H, HB, 2B, or 3B.
- An eraser.
- A pencil sharpener.
- A fineliner or fine-tip pen, if available.
You don't need to have every material listed above. You can use the drawing materials you already have at home.
Please also have:
- A stable internet connection.
- Your camera turned on during the lesson so I can observe your drawing process and give you real-time feedback.
- A notebook and pen if you would like to take notes and write down recommendations or exercises for practice at home.
