TITLE: PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, JANE AUSTEN.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to analyse, identify and convey the thematic concerns of the author in the novel.
The students should be able to identify the techniques that the writer uses to bring their thematic concerns to light.
The students should be able to relate the time setting and place setting of the novel to theme.
The students should also be able to relate character portraits to the thematic concerns of the writer.
