Do you know what phrasal verbs are but feel unsure about how to use them? You're not alone! Many English learners can recognise phrasal verbs but are less confident about grammar usage. Can you separate the verb and particle? Where does the object go?
In this lesson, we sort out the important grammar patterns of phrasal verbs and practise using them correctly.
Lesson format:
- Short reading activity: notice common phrasal verb patterns.
- Matching activity: link phrasal verb patterns to grammar rules.
- Practice activities: use the rules to complete and correct sentences.
- Speaking activity: use phrasal verbs in conversation.
Ideal for intermediate to advanced students.
