This is a fun and interesting lesson about kangaroos and includes information about eating food from nature in Australia - "bush tucker". The lesson adapts this classic Australia book to all levels and ages.
We can cover the following:
- Introductory comments about Australia and kangaroos.
- An overview of the book and the issue of "bush tucker".
- A look at the book including pictures, plot and sections on "bush tucker"
- A discussion incluidng the student's views, experiences and questions.
- A wrap up covering what we learned and ideas for next steps / experiences.
