This lesson provides a comprehensive introduction:to LGBTQIA+ identities, terminology, and social issues. Designed for beginners, it covers the meaning of each letter in the acronym, key concepts like gender vs. sexuality, common challenges faced by the community, and actionable ways to be an ally.
Through **interactive discussions, real-world examples, and engaging activities**, participants will:
- Learn respectful language and pronouns.
- Explore the difference between sex, gender, and attraction.
- Recognize systemic barriers and discrimination LGBTQIA+ people face.
- Develop skills to support queer friends, family, and colleagues.
