These lessons use real and simplified news stories to help you understand global events.

  • Advanced lessons use authentic news articles and videos.

  • Lower-level lessons use easier, adapted news stories for better understanding.

Each lesson includes:

  • A reading with related vocabulary

  • Comprehension questions to check understanding

Some news stories share opinions or discuss serious topics. We’ll also talk about bias (different points of view) and help you understand the bigger picture of each story.
