Lesson Pack Details

- This is a lesson pack of 4 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 4 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 3 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 40 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

This lesson is both for absolute beginners and those who have already started learning the Czech language and wish to reach the A1 level.

We will go step by step learning Czech vocabulary,  grammar, pronunciation and listening comprehension. The A1 course will give you enough knowledge to communicate with Czech people during your next visit to Prague!

The textbook we will use is the most popular and used Czech language textbook called "Czech Step by Step - Česky krok za krokem 1" by LidaHola. The textbook covers A1 and A2 levels and includes 2 CDs.  It is available on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/New-Czech-Step-Textbook-Appendix/dp/8074701298


It is recommended, but not necessary, to purchase also a workbook for the A1 level "Česky krok za krokem 1 - Pracovní sešit 1-12": https://www.amazon.com/New-Czech-Step-Workbook-lessons/dp/8074701336


You don't need to wait for your textbook to arrive to start with the lessons! I will send you both the text and audio to start with!

I recommend starting with Trial Lesson to test your knowledge of Czech first.

All lessons are given in easily understandable English. I am also able to give simple explanations in Japanese.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
