Health and Medicine are very popular topics of conversation! Whether discussing new health ideas with a friend, reading (or writing) an interesting article on medical technology and breakthroughs or discussing concerns with health practitioners there is a lot to talk about!
As a health practitioner (acupuncturist and Feldenkrais Practitioner) who has worked with MD's and a DO, worked in private practice and taught at universities and community centers, I have broad experience helping people to improve their health, understand medical conditions and learn of treatment options as well.
I can help you build your vocabulary and ability to communicate health and medical interests and your needs, whether speaking or in writing.
Subjects will vary according to your intersts and needs.
For example:
If I am traveling or living in another country how can I communicate my needs and concerns with a doctor?
How do I talk with new friends about sports and fitness?
I am writing an article about medicine and technology. How can I describe it in a way that will be easy to understand?
