You will be sent a News Article to read before the class. During class, we will discuss the article and also cover paragraphs and phrases you find difficult to understand

You will be sent an English News Article to read before the lesson.
During class, I will ask you if there are any vocabulary, phrases or expressions you do not understand.
We will then start a discussion on the news article you were given to read. You will also learn how to share your views and express your opinions on the article.
News articles will help you in the following 2 ways:
1) It will allow you to check your understanding of what you've read
2) It will also enable you to use target-specific language during our discussion. This method promotes better retention of vocabulary centred around the topic, hence resulting in improvement in your speaking and comprehension skills
