Read my post in the Tutor Column. That's your homework. Then come to class for some interactional conversation fun.
Description
The aim is to improve your fluency and be more confident conversing in English. This is done at a pace and level you set. So there's no need to be stressed. Just sit back, enjoy the conversation and have a cup of tea if you wish.
The material
You may choose any one of my posts in the Tutor Column for use in class. Or send me any topic of your choice. I do need you to let me know which one you've chosen for class before hand.
The process
Although our aim is to have a natural conversation, you may also learn new words. You can ask about the meaning and particular uses of grammar although the aim is to never stress you out on accuracy in the beginning. It's ok to make mistakes.
When you practise speaking, you also activate so many other skills and sub-skills like listening, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
You will receive a lexis framework on our topic of conversation to aid in the process.
