Cats in books!

Books about cats

Description

Hello! :-)
Do you also like reading and love cats? Have you ever read the
  • The Guest Cat by Takashi Hiraide
  • The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa
  • If Cats Disappeared from the World by Genki Kawamura
  • any books from Murakami?
There is one common point with all these books: there are cats in them. It's not a coincidence that there are cats in so many Japanese books - just as in Turkish cultures - cats are an important part of the culture in Japan, as well. Let's have a discussion and analysis about these books (or all of them). I'm interested in hearing your opinion and would like to give you some more recommendation about reading about cats. During this lesson, we will also look into the following questions:
  • Why are cats so special?
  • How are cats and witches related to each other?
  • What superstition do different nations have about cats?
Sign up for a class to immerse ourselves in the literature of cats! :-) I'm hoping to hear from you soon!
