Anyone who has been studying Italian for many years from books eventually gets to a point where they see less and less progress, lose motivation, and need something different.
I found it!
The English and Japanese I know today come from hours and hours of anime, films, and TV series I watched in the original language.
Yes, it's hard, I know.
At first, I only understood a small part of the dialogue. But then, over the years, my ear got used to it and now I can watch various things, sometimes even without subtitles!

But... as I said, it took me "years" to do that on my own! T_T
This lesson is for anyone who wants to continue studying Italian, improve their listening comprehension, and expand their knowledge of vocabulary and colloquial expressions, but in a short time... because I'll be there to support you!
★Here's how it works:
BEFORE THE LESSON:
- I'll choose a scene from an Italian movie or TV series in Italian.
I already have some materials ready, but if you have requests I'll see what I can do :)
※I'll provide the material for either streaming or download
- I'll prepare the subtitles (in Italian) making sure they perfectly match the audio (this is crucial! most subtitles on Netflix or Amazon Prime do NOT match!)
IN LESSON:
- we watch the scene together on Skype (usually 5-10 minutes)
- we watch the scene a second time with breaks to analyze the dialogues (vocabulary and a bit of grammar)
AFTER THE LESSON:
- watch the scene again and write notes on what you learned, both regarding the language and the Italian culture!
※we will use a shared Google Sheet, so I can review and correct your notes!

You can watch a whole movie!
But obviously, we will need many lessons to do this. For example, if we watch a 100-minute film, it will take at least 20 lessons! In that case, you can request packages of 4 or 8 lessons.
I strongly recommend it though, because in the same movie, they repeat the same words several times and it's the best way to memorize them! ^_^
