Description
This lesson is perfect for musicians of any level who want to understand the "why" behind the music they play--scales, chords, rhythm, and how harmony actually works. We use real examples from the genres you care about, not just classical notation, so concepts feel relevant right away. No prior theory background required.

I keep lessons practical and example-driven, using real songs from the genres you enjoy rather than abstract exercises. I explain concepts clearly, check that they're making sense, and connect each new idea back to music you already know. Whether you're into pop, jazz, rock, or something else entirely, we build your theory knowledge around it.
The core of my approach is relevance. Instead of teaching theory as an isolated, abstract subject, I show you how it explains the music you already listen to and play. I focus on three key things:

2 Building a solid foundation, one idea at a time
3 Helping you hear theory at work in real music, not just on paper
