Lead in: I would share the picture below and ask the student to describe what they see.( I expect the student to use the words big, small, red and cream to describe the balls). I would commend the student and type out the used words.(3 min)
Presentation: The words typed out are examples of the part of speech known as Adjectives. Adjectives are words which describe or modify a noun. Using the picture we create sentences using adjectives that describe the objects in the e.g. A big ball, A red ball, A big red ball, a small ball, a cream ball, a small cream ball.
I will share the picture above and ask the student to describe the men in the picture. I expect answers like, a tall man, a short man( I would type the answers down in the chat area). I would go on to create more sentences using words which describe the picture. The tall man is wearing a red shoe. The short man is wearing a green shirt.
Further, I would explain to the students that most times adjectives are used just before the noun, they describe or modify but sometimes appear after the noun (but more details about rules will be covered in the next lesson).

The student is encouraged to include adjectives in the sample sentences here:
1. I baked cakes yesterday
2. Do you like games?
3. Daniel rides a bicycle.
4. She loves her sister. (5min)

Using these 4 words below, I would ask the students to make sentences with the words and include an adjective in each sentence. 90

Homework
I would share pictures of objects and ask the students to make sentences with names of the objects, including adjectives in the sentences.
