Let's just talk — slowly, and with intention.
This lesson is for you if:
・You can speak Japanese, but something still feels like it's not quite landing
・You want to understand what native speakers do naturally, without thinking
・You want to talk about yourself, in your own words, in Japanese
・You simply feel like having a real, unhurried conversation in Japanese
Twenty-five minutes gives a conversation room to breathe.
You start talking, find your words, maybe stumble a little, try again — and somewhere in that process, the real stuff shows up. That's where the language lives. I'll be asking you a lot of questions along the way, not to test you, but to follow where you're going. The insight usually comes quietly: "oh, that phrasing feels more natural" — and then it stays with you.
If you can, bring one topic you'd like to talk about. Something on your mind lately, something you've been curious about, anything at all. The conversations that start with your ideas always go somewhere interesting. If nothing comes to mind, I'll bring something.
As we spend more time together, I'll start to get a sense of who you are. When that happens, I'd love to offer thoughts like, "knowing you, this way of saying it might feel more like you." My hope is that your Japanese doesn't just improve — it starts to sound like you.
Camera ON is appreciated — expressions, pauses, and the natural "ma" (間) of conversation are all part of real Japanese. If that's not possible, just let me know.
