Understanding harmony function and progressions
Description
In this lesson you will learn about harmonic functions and types of harmonic progressions by looking at different functions of chords and three types of harmonic progressions: Prolongation, Cadential and Sequential. We will examine briefly some musical pieces and some examples to better understand each function before to look at some harmonic progressions like cadential and sequencial. It is required to have a basic knowledge of harmony and music score to better follow the instructions. I will provide a pdf and a small assignment which you can review and complete after the lesson.
