課程介紹
Designed for: Junior high to adult students who want to learn English through cultural stories
Lesson type: One-on-one / reading, vocabulary and speaking
Goal: Build vocabulary, improve reading skills and learn about traditions from different countries
This lesson is for learners who love stories and want to travel the world through English. Each lesson uses a short story from a different country.
Lesson Flow
Warm-up: “Where in the World?” (5 minutes)
We start by guessing today’s country. I give you three clues and you try to guess where the story comes from.
Close Reading (10 minutes)
We read a short traditional story from that country. We pause to check new words and phrases, and you practise reading aloud.
Discussion and Mini Speaking (5 minutes)
We talk about the main idea of the story and what you liked about it. You then share one small fact about your own country or a place you’d like to visit.
