We'll read a scientific article in chemistry or molecular biology focusing on scientific English, followed by a discussion.

This lesson is a chance to help you engage in your field of study in English. Whether you are an undergraduate, postgraduate or even a professor this lesson, you are most welcome to join.
As for me, I completed my Masters in Science, which focused on antibiotic resistance. My study was largely based on molecular biology and chemistry. I would be keen to discuss most topics in the natural and biological sciences. However, I would prefer to discuss papers on molecular biology and chemistry, as these are my fields of specialization.
We'll start by choosing a scientific paper beforehand. You can send me a paper to go through before the lesson. I could also send you a paper if you'd like. We'll read it together, focusing on pronunciation and vocabulary as well as the content. After completing the article, we'll have a comprehensive discussion on anything from the method, findings, conclusion, and possible improvements.
