How and where do you correctly place the articles?
Description
This would cover another important area of English- the articles a and an.
I would first start by explaining the difference between vowels and consonants and then have them practice with examples.
Following this, I would explain that with most vowels we precede it with the article 'an', and consonants the article 'a'
Example: an umbrella, an apple, an envelope (all vowels) and a bag, a girl, a school (all consonants)
After this, I would ask them to make examples of their own and explain some exceptions that exist.
If there is time, we would do online exercises together to solidify their knowledge.
