Quick Dictation Time offers 3 skills during the lesson: Listening, Vocabulary, and Pronunciation.
This Lesson is for Intermediate and Advanced Students Only.
During this lesson, you will either write or type your dictation (Your Choice).
Many sources will be used including: famous quotes, parts of articles, dialogue, parts of stories, and MORE!
What Happens During This Lesson?
If we have time, we will continue to repeat this process with different pieces of material.
This Lesson is for Intermediate and Advanced Students Only.
During this lesson, you will either write or type your dictation (Your Choice).
Many sources will be used including: famous quotes, parts of articles, dialogue, parts of stories, and MORE!
What Happens During This Lesson?
- I will recite the passage at a regular speed the first time to provide clarity and natural speech (for listening).
- Then, I will recite the passage again at a much slower speed to provide you time to transcribe the passage. I will do this twice.
- I will then ask you to reveal what you have transcribed. We will talk about what was correct and what was missed.
- Then, we will talk about any words or phrases you do not understand, etc.
If we have time, we will continue to repeat this process with different pieces of material.
