Each season, we’ll enjoy a different story chosen to match the atmosphere of the time of year.
This autumn season, we’ll explore a cozy mystery with a gentle spooky twist, set in a charming seaside town.
Currently: AUTUMN EDITION (SEPTEMBER–NOVEMBER)
This autumn season, we’ll explore a cozy mystery with a gentle spooky twist, set in a charming seaside town.
The characters' interactions are fun and relatable. It has humor, spooky, and cozy elements, making it a perfect read for this time of year.
You’ll have the option to either read a short excerpt or listen to a short audio clip, followed by a relaxed discussion in English.
In this lesson, you will..
- Choose between reading or listening to a short part of the story
- Practice pronunciation and natural English conversation
- Improve your speaking and comprehension skills through a relaxed discussion
- Learn new and useful vocabulary from the book
This lesson is ideal for intermediate and advanced learners who enjoy cozy mysteries, light paranormal elements, and stories about friendship and self-discovery.
Please note that the exact story changes each season, but you can always expect:
- A cozy atmosphere
- Thoughtful or fun themes
- An easy-to-follow narrative that’s perfect for language learners
Note:
If you previously joined any seasonal book club lessons (such as the spooky autumn ghost story or the Christmas special), please note that those have now been combined into this one all-season format. The story will still change each season, just under one lesson.
