Spice up my English vocabulary! (All ages)
Description
In this lesson, I will introduce 5 new words/expressions/idioms, depending on the student's interests, age, level of proficiency, and career. This is good for students of all ages and all levels of proficiency. You can choose from a wide range of categories, like casual words, idioms, teenage lingo, boardroom vocabulary, etc.
1. I will teach the student how to pronounce each word correctly, providing phonetic spellings.
2. I will explain the meaning of each word.
3. I will give example sentences, using each word.
4. The student will also get an opportunity to create example sentences.
5. At the end of the lesson, we will have a free conversation where I will intentionally prompt students to use our target vocabulary for the lesson.
