Description
1. Warm-up (5 minutes)
- Activity: Quick conversation
- Greet the student and ask about their favorite food.
- Encourage them to describe why they like it and when they usually eat it.
2. Vocabulary Introduction (10 minutes)
- Activity: Flashcard presentation
- Introduce vocabulary related to food and meals using digital flashcards.
- Include words like fruit, vegetables, meat, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
- Engage the student by asking them to repeat after you and to provide examples of each category.
3. Grammar Focus (5 minutes)
- Activity: Simple Present Tense
- Explain how to use the simple present tense to describe eating habits (e.g., “I eat breakfast at 8 AM.”).
- Highlight question forms (e.g., “What do you like to eat for breakfast?”).
4. Listening Activity (10 minutes)
- Activity: Listen and fill in the blanks
- Play a short audio clip about food and eating habits.
- Provide a worksheet where the student fills in missing words based on what they hear.
5. Speaking Practice (10 minutes)
- Activity: Conversation about eating habits
- Use the vocabulary and grammar structures learned.
