What is a verb?

Teaching Methodology: Presentation, Practise, Production
Lead-in:After exchanging pleasantries. I would ask the student how their day went. I will ask if they would be happy to share with me some of the activities they engaged in. If they do, I would type it out in the chat area provided in the video conference tool. I could also share the activities I engaged in with them and write out as well.(6 mins)
Presentation: I would explain to the student that we have just written down a group of words known as Verbs in English. Verbs are action words, words that describe events. I would then use them in sententences in the infinitive form ( I would not mention the word infinitive) e.g. I teach, I cook, I sew, I love to bake, I walk to school etc.(8mins)
Production: After sharing the pictures uploaded here with student, I would ask the student what is happening in the picture. With the action words, I would encourage the student to make sentences similar to the ones I have made. I would commend generously and correct where necessary.(9mins)
Homework: I will share more photos with the student and instruct the student to make more sentences and share them in the next class(2 min)

Cancellation of pack lessons
• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack
• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
