Lesson Outline:
1. Warm-Up (5 minutes)
Introduction:
Briefly introduce the topic: "Today, we're going to explore the fascinating country of Zimbabwe!"
Show a map of Africa and pinpoint Zimbabwe.
Icebreaker:
Ask student what they know about Zimbabwe.
2. Geography and Landmarks (5 minutes)
Presentation:
Show a map of Zimbabwe and highlight major cities (Harare, Bulawayo) and landmarks (Victoria Falls, Great Zimbabwe ruins).
Use photos to showcase these landmarks.
Activity:
3. Culture and Traditions (5 minutes)

Introduce aspects of Zimbabwean culture, including traditional music, dance, and attire.
Show video clips of traditional dances and music performances.
Activity:
Student will try a simple Zimbabwean greeting in Shona or Ndebele (e.g., "Mhoro" for hello in Shona).
Discuss the importance of festivals such as the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA).
4. Everyday Life (10 minutes)
Discussion:
Talk about everyday life in Zimbabwe, including food, education, and family structure.
