The run-up to Christmas can be a busy time, filled with preparations and activities. It's easy to get so caught up in all of this that we lose the initial joy and excitement of the season. That's why we have Advent.
Description
Have you heard of the Jesse tree? In this lesson, we will discuss the ornaments that we hang on the Jesse tree, beginning on the first Sunday of Advent. This is one way our family prepares meaningfully for the dawn of Christmas.
The lesson works like this: If you book a lesson that falls on the 10th day of Advent, we will look at the readings for that day. The best thing is that each reading has a special focus on how to prepare ourselves for that big day. Key words in the passage and the grammatical structures will be highlighted.
