Describing and discussing images
Description
Recommended level: any (best for intermediate)
We will practice:
Vocabulary: learn and practice using words to describe and discuss a range of actions and situations in images
Speaking: discuss follow-up questions for each image, making use of new vocabulary
We will use: my lesson files A picture is worth a thousand words
Good if you: want to learn and practice useful vocabulary for talking about a variety of usual and unusual situations
(In this lesson, you will work with multiple images to 1. describe the image, 2. build vocabulary related to the image, and 3. discuss a follow-up question related to the image. As with all my lessons, you are welcome to request a copy of the file if you would like to review it.)
