Lesson objective:

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to explain key aspects of Japanese culture, including how people communicate, show respect, maintain harmony, and build relationships. This will be delivered via a dialogue.

What the student will learn.

  • 1. How to compare cultural behaviours in a respectful and fun way.
  • 2. How to explain the different, distinct Japanese cultures in various situations to foreigners, using relevant vocabulary and expressions in English.
  • 3. How to ask and answer questions about traditions and customs.
  • 4. Role-playing a situation using identified examples to practice what was learned.

It will be interactive and easy to understand. Don't worry about making mistakes; all we want is for you to make the effort to improve your confidence.  

I'll provide you with constructive feedback on your progress as we move forward. 

Let's dive into the unspoken Japanese culture!
