We start the lesson with you reading a short news article out loud, followed by focusing on your pronunciation difficulties. Finally, I will encourage you to talk about this topic and correct any mistakes that you make.

今日は冬の子供の絵本の分からないところを教えてもらいました。英語の子供の絵本にはスペルがわざと間違えてあったり、難しい表現が韻を踏むために使われていたりすることを学びとても興味深かったです。それ以外にも英語のスペルはイギリスの多国多文化な歴史的背景が関係していることなど教えてもらいいつも通りとても有意義な時間になりました。このような知識豊富な先生に英語を教えていただけるのはとても光栄と感じます。大変おすすめです。

Easy to talk to Friendly Content rich

とても話しやすいので頭で考えすぎず、自然にいろんなトピックについて話す練習になっています。国際的な視点を持つジェームズ先生とのレッスンはとても貴重に感じています。今日は記事を一緒に読み文化的適用について話しました。利点と改善点、イギリス情勢など沢山教えていただけました。また次のレッスンも楽しみにしています。

Friendly Easy to talk to Courteous and thorough

這次選擇和James老師上英語新聞的課程，課堂很充實(ง๑ •̀_•́)ง 課前老師會提供新聞網站的連結，並根據學生的程度建議學生選擇相對應等級的文章，或是由老師幫忙挑選。這次選擇了關於「Google翻譯」的文章，上課時會先朗讀整篇文章，過程中老師會幫忙確認單字的發音，如果有不熟悉的詞彙或片語也可以提問，老師會用淺顯易懂的方式說明。等到確認文章理解沒問題後，老師會讓學生試著用自己的說法來總結這篇新聞的內容，並根據文章內容提出各種問題來做進一步的討論(對於Google翻譯的滿意度、目前的優缺點、和其他翻譯軟體/網站的比較、未來能否取代翻譯/通譯等相關職業......)。...

For intermediates Fun Friendly

James is a gentle and patient listener. We had a look at an article and discussed the content of Japanese government's reopening policy. It was such a cultivated talk.
