Description

Let’s read a news article in Japanese, think, and discuss.
I can choose an article for this lesson, or you can. Either way works! If you would like to an article by yourself, please send the URL of your choice.

Lesson Material
I often articles from NHK News Web for intermediate and advanced Japanese learners.
If you are at N4 or N3, we can also consider using NHK Web Easy instead.

Lesson Procedure
I will lead the lesson in the way which fulfills each student's needs and wants. For example, you can focus on;
  • studying words and kanji characters, and grammar,
  • pronunciation practice,
  • focus on the discussion part as conversation practice by thoroughly reading the article before the lesson,
and so forth. Let me know what you are hoping to get out of this lesson!
