Hello! During the Halloween campaign, I'd like to invite you to enjoy a short virtual journey to South America, where people also celebrate All Saints' Day or Día de Difuntos. There are special celebrations all over the world, and with this class, you'll get a bigger scope of understanding about the origins and importance of the Halloween Day. Besides, you will get to hear some first-hand experience in spending the Halloween in these countries! :-)
- Do you know what is the special dessert that people in Ecuador eat only this time of the year?
- Would you like to learn about the origin of the decorated skulls?
- Why do people have a feast in the cemeteries in Mexico during this night?
- What are the similarities and differences between Halloween and Hungry Ghost Festivals, widely celebrated in Asia?
