Step into the role of a detective and solve the story hidden within beautiful Dixit cards! In each lesson, you will:

·       Analyze fictional characters and their challenges in 4 of the following categories: career challenge, life decision, social dynamics, creative project and ethical dilemma.

·       Explore solutions and advice through imaginative storytelling.

·       Practice English speaking, description and critical thinking in a playful and structured way.


Who it’s for:

·       English learners who are comfortable with daily conversation.

I’ll adjust my speaking style to ensure you feel comfortable and supported throughout each lesson.

·       Adult English learners who enjoy creative thinking, storytelling, and discussion, and wish to steadily improve these skills.

·       Anyone looking for a fun, imaginative alternative to traditional English lessons.

 

What we’ll do in each lesson:

1.     We’ll look at 2-3 random Dixit cards like this one:

-        Each Dixit card represents a character’s problem, solution and advice.

2.     Then we’ll discuss and interpret the cards using English. As we talk, I’ll provide real-time support with pronunciation, sentence structure, and vocabulary as needed.

 

3.     Next, I’ll introduce a character, and we’ll build a story around the character’s challenge and next steps. There will also be an opportunity to role-play advice-giving dialogue in this section.

 

4.     After each lesson, I’ll send thorough feedback so you can review the material. There will also be optional homework with checks included.  

 

What you’ll gain:

·       Through the course of 4 lessons, you’ll steadily improve your English speaking and storytelling, strengthen your creativity and critical thinking, develop your perspective-taking and problem-solving and practice English dialogue and advice-giving.

• パック全てではなく、パックに属する一つのリクエストのみキャンセルされたい場合は、通常のリクエストと同様、リクエスト詳細ページから可能です。その場合、講師の単発レッスンのキャンセルポリシーに従い、リクエスト時に使用されたクーポンが返却、もしくは消費されます。講師による単発レッスンのキャンセルポリシーで定められている50％の一部返金については、レッスンパックには適用されず、講師がクーポンの返却、もしくはクーポンの消費のいずれかを選択できます。予めご了承ください。
