What is life coaching?  How is it different from psychotherapy?

Coaching vs therapy

Generally speaking, coaching is more focused on helping you achieve your FUTURE goals, while psychotherapy tends to focus on the past and present.
The focus in psychotherapy is more on healing from the past, while the focus in coaching is more on getting you to where you wish to be next.

When you feel stuck, you have trouble imagining a new future.  I can help you tap into possibility thinking so you can move toward the change you see for yourself.

To help you think broadly and imagine new futures, I ask you to imagine what it might feel like to experience something new and to describe the
future experience as if it already happened.

How the session is conducted.

Bring an agenda - What do you want to achieve? 
Do you have a few business ideas but don't know what one is the best?
Do you have time management problem?  Do you have trouble setting boundaries with others?  Are you stuck in an unhappy relationship
or an unsatisfying job?

I don't tell you what you should do.  I guide you by asking the right questions and invite the shift in you. By the end of 1-2 sessions, you will have a better picture of how to reach your goals.  

About me: I finished an online course from Coach Training Alliance (US) in April 2021.
