Develop your conversation skills and become a more confident communicator.

Did you know that linguistic competence (grammar and vocabulary) is only one of the 4 communicative competences that you need to be a successful communicator?

This lesson will help you develop:

- Interactional competence: knowing when to talk; how to interrupt appropriately; how to keep your turn when someone rudely interrupts you; how to listen actively and support the speaker

- Sociolinguistic competence: how to employ strategies that help you achieve your objectives effectively, such as persuading, influencing, requesting, criticising, complaining etc.

- Discourse competence: how to structure and connect your ideas clearly

Speak about any topic that interests you!

Receive developmental feedback on your conversation skills and pronunciation, as well as action points to work on to help you improve
