레슨 상세 내용

 

Lesson Goals:

  • Improve listening and comprehension skills
  • Learn new vocabulary and sentence structures
  • Encourage speaking through simple questions
Lesson Structure

1. Warm-up – Fun Introduction

  • Start with a simple question:
    • “What’s your favorite story?”
    • "Do you like animals/fairies/adventures?”
    • "Show a picture from the story and ask:
    • “What do you see?”
    • “What do you think will happen?|

2. Storytime – Reading Aloud

  • Read a short story aloud with expressions and gestures.
  • Show pictures while reading (if available).
  • Pause to check to understand:
    • “What is happening here?”
    • “What do you think will happen next?”

🔹 Example Stories:

  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a simple story with repetition.
  • Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? – Easy vocabulary and colors.
  • Little Red Riding Hood is a classic fairy tale with a simple plot.

3. Comprehension Questions – Checking Understanding

🔹 Basic Questions (for younger kids):

  • “Who is the main character?”
  • “What color is the bear?”
  • “What did the caterpillar eat?”

🔹 Thinking Questions (for older kids):

  • “Why do you think the wolf wanted to trick Little Red Riding Hood?”
  • “What would you do if you were in the story?”
  • “What is the lesson of this story?"

4. Speaking Practice & Wrap-up

  • Ask the student to retell the story in their own words.
  • Use sentence starters:
    • “First, the caterpillar was hungry.”
    • “Then, he ate a lot of food.”
    • “In the end, he became a butterfly!”
  • Encourage creative thinking: “Can you make a different ending?”

5. Homework (Optional)

  • Draw a picture of their favorite part and describe it in the next lesson.
  • Practice retelling the story to a family member.
