Lesson Pack Details

- This is a lesson pack of 10 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 10 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 9 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 70 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Description

This is a variety pack of 10 lessons.  You may choose a different lesson each time from this list of my 30-minute lessons.

The DEFAULT* choice will be Chosen if not stated in the request.  (*DEFAULT - The choice chosen when a student does not select anything)

  • Phrasal Verbs: Sound like a Native Speaker – Textbooks teach you to say "postpone," but native speakers say "put off." To sound truly fluent, you need to master Phrasal Verbs. But memorizing a long list is boring! In this lesson, we will learn Phrasal Verbs by TOPIC (Business, Travel, Daily Routine), not by list. We will play games to "translate" formal sentences into natural English so you sound less like a student and more like a native.

  • Mastering Small Talk: No More Awkward Silences – Do you freeze when a meeting starts? In Western culture, Small Talk is a huge part of building relationships. In this lesson, I will teach you the "Ping-Pong Method" (Answer + Add Detail + Ask Back) to keep any conversation flowing naturally. We will practice specific scenarios like the "Zoom Waiting Room," the "Monday Morning" chat, and your "Elevator Pitch." Perfect for business professionals!
  • Speak Like a Native: Intonation & Rhythm Coaching – Stop sounding "robotic" and start speaking with flow! As a professional Voice-Over artist, I will coach you on Intonation, Word Stress, Linking, and Emotion. We will not focus on grammar rules; instead, we will treat English like music. This is a unique lesson to help you sound smoother and more natural.
  • Learn English with Engoo News (DEFAULT) – We will read an article from Engoo News (engoo.com/app/daily-news). You can choose the article or I can. We will discuss pronunciation, vocabulary, and the article contents. This lesson works on pronunciation and discussion skills. (Note: If you do not request a specific topic, this is the lesson we will do).
  • 30-Minute Power Practice – This lesson incorporates engaging games and activities that focus on speaking, listening, vocabulary, fluency, and critical thinking. By blending shorter warm-up games, two main activities, and a reflective cool-down, students stay energized while gaining confidence and improving their communication skills.
  • Mini Let's Have Fun with a Video (LESSON IN ZOOM) – Using a video and different exercises, this will be a 3-in-1 lesson! We will work on Vocabulary, Listening, and Discussion Skills. There will be preparation you need to do before this lesson.
  • Dictation Time! – During this lesson, you will either write or type your dictation (Your Choice). Many sources will be used including: famous quotes, parts of articles, dialogue, parts of stories, and MORE!
  • Breaking News English – We will read an article from breakingnewsenglish.com and discuss the article. You can choose the article or I can. This lesson works on pronunciation and discussion skills.
  • TED/NEWS/TED-ED Talks (Intermediate and Advanced Students) – This lesson will consist of a video, quiz, listening, and discussion. Each Bi-weekly Lesson will feature a different TED, NEWS, or TED-ED Talk. This lesson features listening, speaking, vocabulary, and reading. Please SEE the specific lesson page for current subjects.
  • Mini Variety Picture This! – In this variety presentation, I will prepare a presentation of a variety of 4-5 pictures with many different themes. This presentation will give you a quick lesson in vocabulary and discussion.
  • Learn English with NEWS – This is a reading, conversation, and discussion lesson for ADVANCED Students. We will be reading an article and discussing it. Articles can be chosen from a variety of sites. You may choose the article (please send your choice with your request), or I will choose one for you.
  • Quick Questions – This lesson will help you answer questions concisely and quickly. I will ask questions about one topic or many topics, and I will ask you to give me your answer in a complete sentence. This is a fun way to increase your speaking skills and thinking in English.
  • Conversation and Coffee – This is a relaxed lesson. Just grab your favorite beverage (tea, coffee, soda), and let's have a conversation about anything you would like to talk about. If you don't have a topic in mind, I can choose a topic and ask questions as well.

This tutor's cancellation policy

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 24hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
