Description
This is a special HALLOWEEN themed version of my popular 'Describe a Picture' lesson. You are welcome to take this lesson at any point between now and the start of November!
Describing pictures is one of the best ways to improve your English skills. It is very effective for:
- learning new vocabulary (general or specific)
- learning descriptive phrases
- using a variety of descriptive and comparative adjectives
- using present simple & present continuous tenses accurately
- prepositions of place & position
- speculating
- engaging your brain in a new & creative way (speaking while looking at pictures uses different parts of the brain and can support better fluency)
I will choose pictures & photographs on a Halloween theme that and will assist you with any new vocabulary and questions about the images. We can also have fun chatting about Halloween traditions.
