In this lesson, we can discuss the book or film adaptation of Matilda by Roald Dahl. There are two film adaptations of this book: one from 1996 and one from 2022.
During the lesson, you will be asked to read or watch a portion of the selected text and answer questions such as:
- Do you feel sorry for this character?
- Name some qualities that you like/dislike about this character.
- Can you relate to this character? How?
Our discussion of the book will not be in chronological order. We will focus on certain impactful/meaningful events and discuss them in depth.
