1. Warm-Up / Chat (5–10 min)
- 
Greet the student, ask about their day, week, or something interesting they’ve done. 
- 
Purpose: make them feel comfortable and get them talking naturally. 
- 
Example: “What’s something fun you did this week?” 
2. New Words & Phrases (10 min)
- 
Introduce 5–8 new words or expressions the student can actually use. 
- 
Say the meaning, give an example, and let them practice saying it. 
- 
Ask them to make their own sentences. 
- 
Example: “exhausted — very tired. ‘I was exhausted after work today.’ Can you make a sentence?” 
3. Listening & Discussion (15 min)
- 
Watch or listen to a short video or audio clip (news, culture, daily life). 
- 
Ask: - 
“What did you understand?” 
- 
“Can you summarize it in your own words?” 
- 
“Any new words you noticed?” 
 
- 
- 
Discuss opinions and experiences related to the topic. 
4. Conversation Practice / Roleplay (15–20 min)
- 
Pick a real-life scenario: ordering food, giving directions, small talk, work conversations. 
- 
Practice speaking naturally, correcting pronunciation gently, and expanding answers. 
- 
Encourage the student to respond fully and ask questions back. 
5. Wrap-Up & Optional Homework (5–10 min)
- 
Review vocabulary and phrases from today. 
- 
Give a small task: e.g., write a short paragraph using new words, or prepare to talk about a topic next time. 
- 
End with positive feedback and encouragement.
