If you want to do more than just learn English, but also want to see the vast cultural world that learning English can open up for you, I highly recommend Cooper's courses. Throughout the 30-minute lesson, Cooper patiently guided our conversation, encouraging me to speak more and share my experiences and observations. He was particularly attentive and meticulous in noting my pronunciation slips, grammatical mistakes, and imprecise word choices, later providing detailed explanations in his after-class comments about why I had misused them and how I could refine my vocabulary according to the context. But Cooper’s greatest strengths don’t end there. His extensive knowledge and broad expertise mean that, in addition to teaching English, his after-class comments include personalized recommendations for English-language viewing materials tailored to my interests — from movies and TV series to YouTube videos and podcasts across various genres. Reading his comments, I couldn’t help but wonder if Cooper had a second brain: he somehow remembered my brief mention of Takeshi Kitano’s films while simultaneously noting my grammar errors and recommending the movie, Kikujiro.
