Description
Lesson Title: (Beginner) Needs Analysis & Short Introduction
Class: 1:1
Duration: 35 minutes
Content: Needs Analysis and short introduction (beginner level), including talking about what you do (work or study) and your hobbies/interests
Target Student: Beginner (A1/A2)
Language Focus:Articles (A / An) for Jobs (or study, if you are a student), talking about your hobbies/interests and a short introduction. Present simple tense.
This lesson comprises three main parts:
First, we will go through and complete together your needs analysis, which includes information about what you do (work or study) and your hobbies and interests.
Next, we will look at a mini language focus – using either article 'A' vs 'An' to talk about what you do for a living or what you study. There will be some speaking practice for you (no pressure) and I will help with pronunciation of the vocabulary used.
Finally, we will complete an interactive self-introduction activity. I will provide you with a template to use. At the completion of the lesson, I will provide you with constructive feedback, homework, and information about potential future classes with me.
Note: This lesson will be fun and engaging. Do not worry if you do not feel confident speaking English right now, I will be patient with you and we can take our time.
